“I started training with Journey during the pandemic. We did a lot of strength and conditioning, which helped my body and my agility on the court. They’re not only a friendly and fun group to work with, but they really push you and uplift your standards on wanting to get better. If there’s one thing I’ve soaked up from Coach Derick and Coach Arnel, it’s that they’ve made me a better competitor”

“I've had an incredible experience with coaching at Journey Basketball that goes beyond the typical coaching programs. In addition to learning more and more as a coach, what I have experienced with Journey is personalized attention, constant encouragement, and focus on overall development. From refining fundamental abilities to instilling resilience, Journey Basketball has taught me a well-rounded foundation for success in training young hoopers. Journey Basketball is not just an ordinary basketball program, but it is a program for growth, both on and off the court.”
— ANGELO SANTIAGO | St.Mary’s university (ccaa - Calgary)
“Training with journey basketball has helped me improve my game a lot. From being a spot up shooter they helped me become a three level scorer that can attack the rim and shoot off the dribble from anywhere on the court. There’s no wasted time and movements, the training always translates to game scenarios and game related movements. They focus on working on your weaknesses but at the same time they work to master all aspects of your game. Journey basketball is a great environment to be in, surrounded by amazing coaches and athletes with the common goal of improving. Coaches are 100% real with you and the coaches try to make you better on and off the court.”
